Bar

Crystal and barware for the home bar
A well-equipped home bar brings together glasses for each drink, decanters for wine and spirits, an ice bucket, a few tools and something to rest a glass on. Crystal remains the reference for the glass itself. Baccarat, founded in Lorraine in 1764, counts among its icons the Harcourt glass, created in 1841, while Moser, founded in 1857 in Karlovy Vary in Bohemia, is known for hand-cut and engraved Czech crystal. Felicia Ferrone's brand Fferrone, based in Chicago and Milan, reduces the glass to precise, handcrafted forms, and Helle Mardahl's mouth-blown cocktail glasses bring bright colour to the counter.
The accessories complete the picture. Georg Jensen, the Danish house founded in 1904, designs barware in clean Scandinavian lines; Ralph Lauren Home brings the designer's classic American style; Jonathan Adler adds wit with coasters such as Versailles; Tom Dixon's Tank collection plays with bold, architectural forms; and Fürstenberg, the German porcelain manufactory founded in 1747, shows that the bar is not only about glass.
