Sabre

A sense of elegance, colour and fun since 1993 when Francis Gelb, son of a goldsmith family created Sabre, a brand to combine the meticulous work of craftsmanship with his taste for colour, materials and shapes. Cheerfulness, fantasy and a dash of audacity characterise the collections with quality being a key requirement at every stage of the manufacturing process, from the choice of materials to polishing. Sabre reflects a goldsmith’s skill and the art of work well done.

The House of Sabre

Sabre Paris made its name with cutlery and with a simple idea: that knives, forks and spoons could bring colour and personality to the table instead of staying in the background. Its Bistrot collection pairs the classic shape of French bistro cutlery with rounded handles offered in a wide palette, from soft pastels to deep, saturated tones, so that a table can be set in a single colour or in a cheerful mix.

Over the years the house has added new shapes, patterns and finishes, extending the same approach to serving cutlery and to collections with decorative motifs. Behind the colour lies a goldsmith's eye for finish, in pieces made to be used every day and to go through many family meals. The result is cutlery that is easy to live with and that can follow the season, the menu or the mood of the evening.
