The House of Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren founded his company in New York in 1967 with a collection of ties, and the Polo label soon grew into a complete picture of American style for men and women. In 1983 he carried that picture into the home with Ralph Lauren Home, imagined as complete rooms and ways of living rather than as single objects.

The collection draws on the same sources as his clothes: English country houses, New England, the American West and the world of sailing. Leather, polished metal, crystal and lacquered wood are worked into barware, frames, boxes and desk accessories with tailored proportions and careful finishing, designed to be used every day and to look better with the years.
