Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 is a renowned Italian luxury porcelain brand founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Ginori in Tuscany. Celebrated for its exquisite craftsmanship and innovative designs, Ginori 1735 seamlessly blends heritage with contemporary style in tableware, decor, and art pieces, globally recognized for their elegance and unparalleled quality.

The House of Ginori 1735

The manufacture was established at Doccia, in Sesto Fiorentino just outside Florence, where Carlo Ginori set up kilns on his family's estate to produce true porcelain. It was founded in 1735, and from the start its white porcelain and painted decoration reflected the refined taste of eighteenth-century Florence.

In 1896 the company joined the Milanese Società Ceramica Richard to form Richard-Ginori, and in the 1920s the architect Gio Ponti, as artistic director, gave its porcelain a new, modern language. Today, as Ginori 1735, the house still produces in Sesto Fiorentino. Its signature collections include Oriente Italiano, which combines the garofano floral motif with the Antico Doccia shape in a range of colours, and it continues to work with contemporary artists and designers on tableware and objects for the home.
